Congratulations to the It’s a Knockout team “Pirates Under Fire” who came 2nd overall and 1st in the fancy dress. We got thoroughly soaked but we had great fun!

The final team of 10 were Julie Brown, Mark Deacon, Gareth Driscoll, teresa Bizzill, Kelly Addison, Nathan Ricketts, Helen Scholes, Martin Schols (HMPS), George Ross (In2Action) and Sean Duignan (IW Council).

Sincere thanks to the team for their efforts on the dya and for collecting sponsors. We raised a total of £630 which will help towards patient care at the Hospice. Thanks to everyone who supported us on the day and to all who sponsored us.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who sponsored me for the swim.

The conditions were perfect although the water was a bit fresh.

In total 24 swimmers raised just over £15,000 for the Samaritans Isle of Wight branch.

Thank you for all your support.
